The VORTEX CDI POWERJET KIT, and we were impressed.

It pumped up the ponies considerably. It turned the mild mannered YZ250

into a fire breather.

Overall, our pro tester loved Tolle’s modified Yamaha. “This thing is a

Rocketship”. He said “It’s the best 125 I’ve ever ridden; the motor is so strong and is still very useable. I loved the way it exploded out of corners.”

We were extremely impressed with the MT Racing YZF, saying it was

downright unfair to race the thing against tiddler two-strokes.

“It makes a 125 feel like an 80!” The testers claimed was better than a stock YZ426F.

Overall, I was impressed by the way the bike performed on the track.

The motor was quite strong. Now I know why I was in love with this bike

back then:  because it works just as I thought it looked back in 1979.

When doing our research to select a reprogrammable CDI system, our most

significant concern was the computer intelligence needed to operate the tool.

We asked for references and we asked for details concerning support after

the initial purchase.

We selected the VORTEX system when we were told of its ease to use.

The VORTEX IGNITION it went from mild to wild in a second.

Compared to stock, this ignition caused the power to come on stronger in the MID, pull harder going into the top and gave the bike way more overrev.

It was amazing that an ignition curve could do so much to the performance.
